0:28 influencers you just saw, but in fact, I
0:30 created everybody with just a single
0:32 image and 30 seconds of my time. And
0:34 what's even crazier is that I lied. I am
0:37 made by AI. Here's the real Dan. Okay,

0:41 you that I'm actually real, here's me

0:45 glass to you, taking a sip.
0:49 AI is not there yet. Yeah. The crazy
Why use AI Avatars?
0:50 thing is my AI has become so insane that
0:53 it is almost indistinguishable from the
0:56 real me. Just give me a few more months
0:58 of updates and soon nobody will be able
1:00 to tell the difference between you and
1:01 me.
1:04 Now, there's a lot of negativity about
1:07 AI avatars lately and to me it's not
1:09 justified. Let me explain. For me, I
1:12 have to be in this studio all the time
1:14 every time I want to record a video. And
1:16 if I'm on holiday, I cannot record a
1:18 video. If I'm outside, I cannot record a
1:20 video. I have to be in this space. With
1:22 my AI avatar, I can record a video
1:25 anywhere in the world. So, I could be
1:27 laying on the beach right now and I have
1:28 my AI avatar do the hard work for me.
1:30 But not only that, the competition has
1:32 become greater for this. And there's a
1:34 lot of AI slop. But what I think about
1:36 that, because anyone can now create
1:38 content with AI, the content that has
1:40 been created needs to be leveled up. So,
1:42 it needs to become so much better to
1:44 actually perform good. So creators like
1:46 me are actually like working a lot
1:48 harder than I used to because I know my
1:50 content needs to be good and that's why
1:52 I like AI avars so much. Now if you're
4 different methods on how to make Ai avatars
1:55 thinking that these AI avars look
1:56 amazing then let me explain to you how I
1:58 made these. All of these avars were
2:00 generated using hijen. And in this video
2:03 I will show you exactly how all of this
2:05 works. There are currently four
2:06 different methods on how you can
2:08 generate these AI avatars on Hen. I will
2:10 show you all of them including this one
2:12 that is an AI animation avatar. And this
2:15 one is just insane of using text to
2:17 video. If you want to try this out

Method 1
2:22 the first method is using public
2:24 avatars. So after logging in into Hen,
2:26 you want to go to avatars right here.
2:29 And then if you scroll right down here,
2:31 you can see public avatars. These have
2:33 been generated by Hen. This is a mix of
2:36 real people and AI generated people. For
2:39 example, we have Lana over here. She is
2:41 generated by AI. And the crazy part
2:43 about her is if you click on her, then
2:45 we can see that if we scroll down here,
2:47 Lana actually has 47 different looks to
2:50 her. So, we have this one in the podcast
2:52 studio. We have all of these other ones.
2:55 We have her on the couch. We have her
2:58 presenting the news. And we even have
3:00 her doing the weather. All of this has
3:02 been generated already for you by Hey
3:04 Jen. So, if you need a character with
3:06 multiple different angles, multiple
3:07 different outfits, then this might be
3:09 the one for you. But now comes the fun
3:10 part because now we can go to the script
3:13 and here we can write our script. So now

4:09 video feature on Hen. So what we do is
4:11 we're back on home. Then we can create
4:13 something new using the photo to video
4:15 with Avatar 4. Here we can choose any of
4:18 their existing videos like this one for
4:20 example or we can upload our own. I have
4:22 one prepared right here. So I have this
4:23 midjourney image right here. What I'm
4:25 going to do is I can download it. Then
4:27 I'm going to upload this image right
4:28 there. And now I can type in my script.
4:31 So I have my script right here. Then for
4:33 the voice, what is interesting about Hey
4:35 Jen is that it already matches a few
4:38 voices with your character. So these are
4:40 apparently our top matches. We have
4:42 Luna, we have Millennial Molly, and we
4:44 have Britney. If those are not the
4:46 voices you're looking for, then you can
4:47 also filter your voice right here. So
4:49 let's actually filter it on female. We
4:51 already have that selected. We can do
4:53 conversational, and we do young adult.
4:55 Now, this gives us a few different
4:57 options. And then we can listen to
4:58 these. For example, this one.
4:59 Hey there. Here's how I sound. Hi.
5:02 And let's try this one. Then we can add
5:04 in some custom motion. So that means
5:06 that you can give it some custom
5:07 instructions. Let's, for example, you
5:09 want the AI to wave your hand. So that
5:11 means even if I'm waving my hand, you
5:13 don't know if I'm actually AI or not. So
5:15 yeah, we're going to have the woman move
5:17 both hands gently. And the reason I'm
5:19 saying gently is otherwise it might be
5:21 over exaggerated. Now enhanced prompt,
5:24 I'm going to leave that off because if I
5:26 enable it, it might add some things that
5:28 I don't want. Then we can choose between
5:30 more expressive motion and we want to
5:33 enable that because like if we do this
5:35 then it will have more gestures. Then we
5:37 want to do the advanced avatar for turbo
5:41 and now we can select the output to
5:43 1080p because you want to have the
5:44 highest resolution. Then you generate
5:46 the video and after a few minutes you
5:49 will have a video like this.

Method 3
5:56 three is generating an hyperrealistic AI
5:59 avatar of yourself. So what I'm doing
6:01 here is I'm going to go back to avatar.
6:03 I'm going to click on create new avatar.
6:05 And here we click on hyper realistic
6:07 avatar. So here you want to I already
6:10 have done this. So just for the sake of
6:13 it, you want to have the premium plan of
6:16 this and that means you need to be on
6:17 the creator plan. If you already have
6:19 this done, then you need to buy this as
6:20 an add-on. But I already have mine here.
6:23 Basically what you do is you upload your
6:25 video. So let me just do it like this.
6:28 You use your own video. Then you follow
6:30 all of these instructions and it means
6:32 that you want to have a video of at
6:34 least 2 minutes and make sure that your
6:37 input is your output. So if your video
6:38 is bad, your output is going to be bad.
6:40 So you want to sit in perfect
6:42 conditions, have the highest quality
6:43 microphone, the highest quality
6:45 settings, and then you want to record
6:47 yourself. So you want to upload your
6:50 footage right here. This can be through
6:51 Google Drive or you can just hit upload
6:53 and then you need to do a consent video.
6:55 After you give them consent, you
6:57 basically give them permission to
6:59 generate an AI clone of yourself. So
7:01 basically if you do any specific motion
7:03 like for example talking like this then
7:04 it will pick that up and then it will
7:06 use that as a gesture and then
7:08 throughout your generations you can use
7:10 these gestures if you have a specific
7:12 emphasis for example you want to put on
7:14 a word. As you can see while I'm talking

7:17 what you can do inside of Hey Gen as
7:19 well. So now what you can do is if you
7:20 click on your generated avatar, you can
7:22 go to create with AI studio, then you
7:25 can either choose portrait or landscape.
7:27 I recorded mine in landscape. If you're
7:29 doing Instagram, I would recommend you
7:31 also record your video in portrait mode.
7:33 But for my sake, I'm using landscape.
7:36 And now we can just add the script
7:37 again. And then you can hit submit. And
7:39 here you can have your video. And the

Method 4
7:50 is using text to video avatar feature.
7:53 Now, for this, we're going to go over to
7:55 avatars again. Then, we're going to
7:56 click on create new avatar. And here we
7:58 click on generate. If you don't have an
8:01 image and you want to create an image
8:02 through Hey Jen, then you can do that
8:04 right here. So, here you can give a name
8:06 to your avatar. Let me just do something
8:08 like Sarah. Then you can choose your
8:11 age. You can choose your ethnicity. So,
8:13 let's do Middle Eastern. And then you
8:15 can choose your gender. So, let's do a
8:16 women. Then, we can describe our avatar.
8:19 So, I have a description right here of a
8:22 stunning Middle Eastern female YouTuber
8:23 in a mid20 mesmerizing almond shaped
8:26 eyes. And yeah, basically I'm generating
8:28 this avatar. Now, for the orientation,
8:30 I'm going to go with landscape. And then
8:32 I want to have the upper body as for
8:34 example, right now you're seeing my
8:36 upper body as well. And I want to have
8:38 this kind of like YouTube AI avatar. So,
8:40 for the style, you can choose any type
8:41 of style. I'm going to go with Pixar
8:43 right here. Now we can generate a
8:46 preview and this means that we can get
8:48 an image to have a look at which one we
8:50 like the most between all the options
8:52 that it generates. So now we have these
8:54 three different options and I like this
8:56 one the most. So let's go with that one.
8:57 If you don't like them then you can
8:59 either change your prompt and regenerate
9:01 or you can just click on generate again.
9:03 Now I'm going to click on save. And the
9:04 next thing is now that our avatar is
9:06 saved is we need to choose a voice. So
9:08 for that we can either add in our own
9:10 voice or we can pick choose a voice for
9:12 me and let's see what it comes up with.
9:14 Besides that you can also train the
9:16 model to generate different looks of
9:18 your AI avatar. So that means you can
9:20 have different angles, you can have
9:22 different poses, different environments,
9:24 different everything. So for that you
9:27 want to click on train the model and
9:28 here you can generate it using different
9:30 prompts. But for now let's actually use
9:32 this with the create AI studio and we're
9:34 going to generate a video with this
9:36 character. Anyone can now make a YouTube
9:38 channel like me.
9:40 It all comes down to coming up with
9:41 something creative.
9:42 So again, we type in our script and then
9:44 we hit submit. And I'm just going to
9:46 name this Sarah. And we're going to hit
9:49 submit. And now the video looks like
9:51 this.
9:51 Anyone can now make a YouTube channel
9:53 like me. It all comes down to coming up
9:55 with something creative.
9:56 Honestly, it still amazes me how far
9:59 this technology has become because I
10:01 remember using this like 2 or 3 years
10:02 ago and all the avatars look pretty bad.
10:05 But right now, it doesn't matter who you
10:07 are. It doesn't matter what you do.
10:08 Anyone can become a YouTuber. And the
10:10 great thing about this is anyone can
10:12 just put this creativity into these kind
10:14 of like characters. Now, to me, that
10:16 means that using an AI clone of myself,
10:18 for example, it means that I can make
10:21 videos anywhere in the world because I
10:23 love ideating. I love testing out tools,
10:25 but sometimes the recording might take a
10:28 long while. And with this, it's more
10:29 convenient. It's easier to do while it
10:32 also can provide higher quality
10:34 educational videos. Now, that doesn't
10:36 mean that I'm stopping recording at all
10:38 because I still enjoy recording very
10:39 much, but this just makes life a lot
